Profile & Security
Web vs mobile: Profile fields match the web Profile page. Mobile adds native Security settings — TOTP enrollment, passkeys, recovery codes, and offline queue management — in one place under Account & profile.
Manage your personal information, sign-in security, and notification preferences under More → Account & profile.
Profile Information
What You Can Update
| Field | Editable? |
|---|---|
| Full name | Yes — tap, edit, then Save profile |
| Phone number | Yes |
| No — contact your IT provider to change |
After editing, tap Save profile at the bottom of the screen. A confirmation appears when changes are saved.
Your email is the sign-in identity for ClientOne Mobile and the web portal.
Change Password
When password sign-in is allowed for your organization:
- Open Account & profile
- Find the Password section
- Enter your current password and new password
- Save
If your organization is SSO-only, password change is not shown — manage credentials through your company identity provider.
You can also reset a forgotten password from the sign-in screen via Forgot password? See Getting Started and Logging In (web).
Notification Preferences
In the Notifications section, toggle:
- In-app notifications
- Ticket status updates (email)
- Ticket reply notifications (email)
- Overdue invoice reminders (email, when billing is enabled)
Tap Save notification preferences to apply changes.
Security
The Security section covers multi-factor authentication and passwordless sign-in.
Authenticator App (TOTP)
Enroll a time-based one-time password app (Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, etc.):
- Tap Set up authenticator
- Scan the QR code or enter the manual secret
- Enter a verification code to confirm
Required when your IT provider mandates MFA for customer accounts.
Recovery Codes
After MFA enrollment, generate recovery codes for one-time use if you lose access to your authenticator:
- Tap Recovery codes
- Generate and save codes securely (they are shown once)
- Use a recovery code at sign-in when prompted
Passkeys
Register a passkey for passwordless sign-in with Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode:
- Tap Passkeys
- Follow prompts to register this device
- At next sign-in, authenticate with biometrics instead of typing a password
Passkeys can also satisfy MFA verification for that session when configured.
Manage or remove passkeys from the same screen.
Offline Sync Queue
When you create tickets or post comments without connectivity, changes are stored in an offline sync queue and sent automatically when you reconnect.
Under Offline Sync Queue:
- Pending updates — Count of queued actions
- Flush queue now — Manually send pending items when you are back online
Use flush if items seem stuck after regaining connectivity.
Sign Out
Scroll to the bottom of Account & profile and tap Sign Out. You return to the sign-in screen.
Sign out on shared devices. Web portal sessions are separate — sign out there too if needed.
Common Questions
Can I change my email?
Not from the app. Contact your IT provider.
Can I upload a profile picture?
Profile pictures are not currently available in ClientOne.
Why don't I see password settings?
Your organization may require SSO only. Use your company login or ask your IT provider.
Tips
- Keep phone number updated — Your provider may need to reach you
- Save recovery codes offline — Store them somewhere safe, not in the app
- Register a passkey — Fastest sign-in on your personal iPhone or iPad
- Flush the queue after flights — If ticket comments did not send
