Dashboard (Home)

Web vs mobile: The mobile Home tab mirrors the web dashboard's health overview and widget registry, optimized for touch and smaller screens. Full sync progress dialogs and onboarding wizard remain on PanelOne web.

Navigation: Tab bar → Home

The Home tab is your at-a-glance operations view — health scores, summary cards, configurable widgets, trends, and recent activity across all clients (or a scoped client).

Overview

When you open Home, you'll see:

  1. Page title — Your organization name, or the selected client name when client scope is active
  2. Health overview — Top-level stat cards and health grids
  3. Dashboard widgets — Registry-driven cards (capability and PSA gated)
  4. 7-day trends — Alert and ticket bar chart
  5. Recent activity — Merged alerts and tickets with deep-link navigation

Data refreshes from Supabase on launch and via scoped realtime invalidation when you're online.

Health Overview Cards

Summary cards at the top provide quick-glance metrics:

CardShows
Device healthOnline vs offline device counts
Security scoreComposite security posture
Backup statusHealthy, at-risk, and failed backups
Active alertsUnacknowledged alert count
Open ticketsTickets needing attention

Tap a card or stat to drill down into the relevant tab with filters pre-applied (e.g., offline devices → Devices tab filtered to offline).

Health Grids

Below the top stats, health overview sections include:

  • Org top stats — Organization-wide rollup
  • Client top stats — Per-client breakdown (when viewing all clients)
  • Overall health grid — Multi-metric grid view
  • Client health score cards — Individual client health scores

These sections respect client scope — scoped to one client when a filter is active.

Dashboard Widgets

PanelOne Mobile ships the same widget registry as web (14 widgets), gated by org capabilities and PSA settings:

Widget categoryExamples
DevicesOnline/offline breakdown, device status
SecurityActive threats by severity
BackupsBackup health distribution
AlertsRecent unacknowledged alerts
TicketsOpen tickets by priority
Microsoft 365Tenant health summary
PSAJobs, leads, or billing snapshots (when enabled)

Each widget links through to its detailed list or More destination when tapped.

Widgets you hide or reorder on mobile are stored separately from web in your profile's widget_preferences.mobile_dashboard.

Customizing the Dashboard

  1. On the Home tab, tap Customize (gear icon).
  2. The customize sheet opens with your current layout.
  3. Show/hide widgets with toggles.
  4. Reorder widgets by dragging.
  5. Tap Save to persist, or Cancel to discard.

Layout preferences are per-user and mobile-specific — your web dashboard layout is independent.

Reset to Default

From the customize sheet, use Reset to Default to restore the original mobile widget layout.

Recent Activity

The Recent Activity section merges the latest alerts and tickets into a single chronological feed:

  • Each row shows entity type, title, client (when not scoped), and timestamp.
  • Tap a row to navigate to alert detail, ticket detail, or the relevant list.

Recent activity uses cached data when offline, with timestamps indicating last sync.

A bar chart shows alert and ticket volume over the past seven days:

  • Helps spot spikes during on-call handoffs.
  • Respects client scope when a client filter is active.

Client-Scoped View

When a client scope filter is active (toolbar):

BehaviorDetail
Page titleShows the client name
WidgetsFilter to that client's data
Health cardsClient-specific metrics
TrendsClient-scoped 7-day chart

Clear client scope from the toolbar to return to the organization-wide dashboard.

Offline Behavior

When offline:

  • Home displays cached dashboard data from the last successful sync.
  • Cached envelope timestamps indicate data freshness.
  • Widgets and stats reflect last-known state — they do not update until connectivity returns.

See Offline & Sync for cache and queue details.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Start your shift on Home — Fastest way to spot cross-client issues.
  • Customize for your role — Engineers may prioritize alerts and devices; account managers may prioritize tickets and health scores.
  • Use drill-down — Tap summary cards instead of manually navigating and filtering.
  • Check recent activity — Catches items that arrived while you were away.
