Getting Started

Web vs mobile: ClientOne Mobile is the native iPhone and iPad app for the same customer portal you reach at app.clientone.dev. Sign-in, permissions, and data match the web portal; use the app for quick access on the go and Safari when you need the full desktop experience.

ClientOne Mobile is the self-service app your IT provider uses to give you access to your services on iPhone and iPad. You can view devices, submit support tickets, check backups, read documentation, and more — the same data as the web portal, optimized for touch.

Getting the App

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Search for ClientOne
  3. Install the app published by your IT provider's platform (or the link they send you)
  4. Open ClientOne Mobile and sign in with the same email you use for the web portal

Your IT provider may also send a TestFlight or enterprise install link. Use whichever method they recommend.

Getting Your Account

Your IT provider sends an invitation email with a link to create your account. Click the link, set your password, and you're ready to sign in on mobile or web.

Don't have an account? Contact your IT provider and ask them to send you a ClientOne invitation.

Signing In

  1. Open ClientOne Mobile
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Tap Continue
  4. Complete sign-in using one of the methods below

Password

If your organization uses email and password:

  1. Enter your password
  2. Tap Sign In

You can also tap Sign in with password on the first screen to skip the SSO check and go straight to email + password.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

If your organization uses SSO (for example Microsoft Entra / Azure AD):

  1. Enter your email and tap Continue
  2. You are redirected to your company's sign-in page
  3. Sign in with your company credentials
  4. You return to ClientOne Mobile, signed in

Some organizations require SSO only. If password sign-in is disabled, you must use SSO. Contact your IT provider if you cannot complete SSO sign-in.

Passkeys

If you have registered a passkey for your account:

  1. Enter your email and tap Continue
  2. When prompted, authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode
  3. You are signed in without typing a password

You can add or manage passkeys later under More → Account & profile → Security. See Profile & Security.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Your IT provider may require MFA for extra security. After password or SSO sign-in, you may be asked to verify with:

MethodWhat to do
Authenticator appEnter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app
PasskeyAuthenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode
Recovery codeEnter a one-time recovery code you saved during setup

If your organization requires MFA and you have not enrolled yet, the app guides you through setting up an authenticator app before you reach the main portal.

Tip: Passkey sign-in can satisfy MFA for that session when passkeys are enrolled on your account.

Web Portal Access

The mobile app connects to the same backend as app.clientone.dev (or your provider's custom portal URL). From More, tap Open ClientOne in Safari to switch to the full web portal in your browser.

See Logging In (web) for web-specific sign-in details, password reset, and SSO troubleshooting.

Additional areas — Microsoft 365, network, billing, domains, and more — appear under More when your IT provider enables them in portal settings.

Portal Settings & Visibility

Your IT provider controls which tabs and menu items you see through portal settings. If a feature is missing on mobile or web, contact your IT provider — they can enable it or adjust your permissions.

Signing Out

  1. Open More
  2. Tap Account & profile
  3. Scroll down and tap Sign Out

You return to the sign-in screen. Your session on the web portal is separate; sign out there too if you use a shared device.
